Course Details:
Finance Team 101 is an online course hosted on a platform called Kajabi (access on your laptop or iPhone/Android). All registrants for FT 101 will have access to this course for one year. 

The course will consist of four main units, each with two lessons. Each lesson is a 30-45-minute video lesson that includes a lesson outline for you to follow along and take notes. Along with the video lesson, each Unit has discussion questions allowing you to interact with others to or use with your finance team.

The lesson videos are pre-recorded by our team, and are released with each Unit weekly on Kajabi:

Wednesday, May 1st - Unit 1 (Lesson Videos 1&2)
Wednesday, May 8th - Unit 2 (Lesson Videos 3&4)
Wednesday, May 15th - Unit 3 (Lesson Videos 5&6)
Wednesday, May 22nd - Unit 4 (Lesson Videos 7&8)

If you want to follow the May release schedule, you can plan your participation in the course according to this release schedule. If the May timeline doesn’t work for you or your team, you can do it at your own pace, as once a lesson is posted, it will remain up. 

For those joining the course in May 2024, we will be hosting four live online Q&A Sessions (using a tool like Zoom). These sessions are designed to clarify any questions on the course material that come up after going through the lessons. The links to join these sessions will be posted within the course itself (on Kajabi), and we will send you reminders each week.

Finally, here is how we recommend going through the course.

1. Watch the lesson videos and take notes on the lesson outline. Write down any questions, ideas, or key takeaways. 
2. Work through the Ministry Application Project. If you would like submit your results to the course instructors and with your permission they will share with the class.
3. Reply to the discussion questions for the Unit you are working on. Read others responses and interact with the group discussion.
4. Join in with the live online Q&A sessions. Submit your questions ahead of time or ask them during the session. If you miss the live Q&A we will post them on Kajabi so you can go back and watch later.
5. Consider how you can work with your pastors or finance team to implement what you are learning in your local church.
